- Anyone who has experienced or is
experiencing mental distress has the right to the same quality of
life as every other member of society.
- Anyone who has experienced or is
experiencing mental distress should receive the same access to
services, employment and facilities in the community.
- West Leicestershire Mind endorses a policy
of inclusion individually and within the community.
The primary value that we subscribe to in order to achieve this
is putting Service Users at the forefront of all we do.

West Leicestershire Mind is affiliated to Mind (NAMH) and is an
independent charity in its own right. This organisation is,
therefore, expected to meet a number of requirements to maintain
its position with both Mind (NAMH) and the Charities Commission.
The Management Committee has an overall duty to set the standards
to do this with the expectation every member of staff, volunteer
and Trustee will ensure these are met at all times.
